I love AI. I hate over-hyped technologies.
For most of my career I ran my own company - and boy, do I understand the strong urge to stay relevant and not get left behind. The drive to innovate and adopt new tools. To grind. To Win.
It may be tempting to throw AI at all your problems. Don't shoot the messenger, but the reality is that most businesses should do non-AI work first.
Basic automation, data hygiene, and process improvement (or defining your processes in the first place!) deliver more value than an AI pilot for the vast majority of mid-sized businesses.
AI increases the leverage you get from SYSTEMS. But you need the systems first.
Once you get that right, you can start to build. And boy will it be fun....
